How fantastic at last I’ve found like minded women. I currently live in W Yorkshire where the car is very much “God”. When i lived in London, I cycled everywhere! Up here i think they think of me as the crank on the hill!!!
Does anyone know of any women friendly bike workshops or even bike rides in the North Kirklees, Calderdale areas? would be wonderful to link up with like minded women.
I love the concept of the bike,its so eglitarian and gentle.

I’m in Leeds, not too far from you and know a few bikey types in Calderdale/Hebden area. You should check out these guys http://www.cyclerecycle.org.uk/ – they’re based at Hebble End Mill in HB. Apparently they do a women’s session (though it’s run by a guy). He’s lovely though. If you’re ever in Leeds – Pedallers Arms where I’m a mechanic is very women friendly and we do women/trans only sessions once a month too.
